Parker Palm Springs

Planted on a 13-acre complex sprawling with everything the average vacationer would want, Parker Palm Springs goes above and beyond expectation. Designed by Jonathan Adler, the hotel manages to encapsulate both a laid back and chic vibe that brings the ultimate air of relaxation. Adler’s facelift to the hotel managed to retain its ’50s style while adding his own whimsy, creating a fantastic blend of glamorous and eccentric.

I’ve coupled the hotel’s bright yellows and blues with pieces that pay homage to Jonathan’s eccentric style. I love that this look’s theme is a type of organized chaos: there is no singular era, color palette, pattern, or aesthetic you are bound to. Rather, this look provides room to breathe and explore, building on designs of past time periods.
